The GSDN member organizations provide various services, ranging from digitization and metadata creation support, to digital asset management hosting and preservation, to training and consulting. Below is a summary of current service offerings, followed by a more detailed breakdown including representatives, services, eligibility requirements, and cost.

Costs
- Grant funded projects: planning and consulting services for these digital projects are done at no cost. As part of the grant planning, UC Merced determines the digitization, metadata creation, access and preservation costs. Generally, costs associated with digitization, access to collections and preservation are covered by the grant.
- Non-grant funded projects: digitization services are available on a cost recovery basis.

- Grant funded projects: Planning and consulting services for these digital project are done at no cost. As part of the grant planning USC will determine the digitization, metadata creation, access and preservation costs. Generally costs associated with digitization, access to collections and preservation are generally covered by the grant.
- Non-grant funded projects: Services are available to organizations on a cost recovery basis. This includes consultation on project planning, including project costs and project management in addition to digitization and metadata services.
